TransPerfect London who previously resided over two buildings embraced the opportunity to relocate to one building at Aldgate house.
The workplace design journey began creating fit factor space planning and building analysis of several building prospects.
The newly refurbished Aldgate House boasts raw concrete columns, exposed services with minimal raft ceilings. In order to meet TransPerfect’ compliance standards specialist rooms were built slab to slab and new ceiling treatments adopted to ensure high acoustic performance.
The meeting room suite features concrete paneling, idea walls and iPad room booking systems which teamed with the virtual receptionist makes for a more efficient front of house.
The GTA design team retained the exposed services industrial look in the tea points with enamel pendant lights, concrete paneling and bespoke sign writing - done the traditional painted way!
Incorporating a recreation room for TransPerfect staff hang outs was top of the client brief. A home for table tennis tournaments, GTA created a bespoke installation of hundreds of ping pong bats that is not only a unique feature but is also an acoustic surface.
